Juliet Lewis Tritsis O.D., also know as Dr. Julie Lewis, is a graduate of The Illinois College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Science in Vision Science.  She graduated as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honorary Society and was selected to complete an internship at Veterans Medical Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.  Dr. Lewis Tritsis also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ohio University.

Some of Dr. Lewis Tritsis’ past accomplishments include serving as a teaching assistant for Color Vision and Neurobiology students and tutoring students in Strabismus and Amblyopic conditions at Illinois College of Optometry.  She was also a member of the Illinois Contact Lens Society.  In addition, while attending Ohio University she conducted research on Psychophysical Response to Auditorial Stimuli and was a CPR instructor.

Since earning her Doctor of Optometry, Dr. Lewis Tritsis is dedicated to providing and serving her patients with the highest quality of eye care. She co-manages laser vision patients with many ophthalmologists and stays current on all the newest ocular developments through continuing education.  Dr. Lewis Tritsis is board certified in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. She currently holds licenses in both the State of Illinois and State of Florida.  With over 16 years of optical experience, Dr. Lewis Tritsis has given over 40,000 comprehensive eye examinations and prides herself on personalized eye care.

Dr. Lewis Tritsis was raised in Canfield, Ohio in a large and loving family. She is one of six siblings. She comes from a long line of health care professionals, who taught her a strong sense of family values and good solid work ethics. She was inspired to become an optometrist because of her close relationship with her grandfather, Dr. Wade Najem, a World War I veteran, and an optometrist.  Dr. Lewis Tritsis, her husband Christopher, and their three children live in Wilmette, Illinois.  Dr. William Najem, also an optometrist, is her brother and business partner.
